Transition to Conversant



One of the advantages of using a cloud service to manage your calls instead of an on-premise product is that you can try it before you switch systems. Conversant even offers you a 30-day money back guarantee so that you don’t commit anything until you’re happy with how it performs.

  • If you have an existing phone system and phone numbers, we will usually set your Conversant system up using a temporary number. We do this so the Conversant system can be used in parallel with your existing system and any issues can be resolved without interfering with the day to day running of your business.
  • Once you're happy with the way the Conversant system is performing, we can bring your existing numbers across to Conversant so all calls will come directly into the Conversant system. The process of bringing the numbers across is called number porting, and you can request number porting when you’re ready by following these instructions.
  • If you want to start using the Conversant service immediately, you can forward calls from your current provider to the temporary Conversant number. If you'd like to do this please contact us and we can advise the necessary steps.

During this process, it is worth noting that the current provider will still be billing you for the account you have with them. Your Conversant account is billed from the start of the trial period should you decide to go ahead with the new system after the 30 days.
