Zero-Touch Provisioning


On the phone, ensure the Zero-Touch provisioning is enabled as below:

  • Select Menu and then Settings
  • Select Advanced and enter the phone’s password (default 456).
  • Choose Admin Settings > Network Configuration > Provisioning Server/Server Menu
  • Under ZTP, ensure this is enabled

Once ZTP is enabled, reboot the phone:

  • Select Menu and then Settings
  • Select Advanced and enter the phone’s password (default 456).
  • Select Reboot

Automatic Provisioning


For a phone that Conversant has provisioned, follow the steps as below:

  • Press the Home button
  • Select the Settings menu
  • Select option 2 - Advanced
  • Enter the default password "456"
  • Select option 1 - Administration Settings
  • Select option 1 - Network Configuration
  • Select Provisioning Server
  • Set Server Type to: HTTP
  • Set Server Address to: c-prov-01.conversant.co.nz/polycom/
  • Note: The . symbol can be found by pressing the * key on your keypad. Once you’ve entered the Server Address click Exit twice and then select Save and Reboot.
  • Once set, back out of the menu's until prompted to save your settings. The phone should then automatically reboot after a short pause, and provision

Manual Configuration


Log on

  • To connect to the web interface, find the IP address of the phone and enter this into the URL bar of a web page.
  • Log in using credentials below:
    • Username: Polycom
    • Password: 456

Time

  • SNTP Server: pool.ntp.org
  • GMT Offset:+12
  • Daylight Saving: Enabled
  • Start: October
  • Stop: April

Network

NAT

  • ipaddress: Proxy details as advised by Conversant

SIP

  • Outbound Proxy: Proxy details as advised by Conversant
  • Port: 5060
  • Transport: TCP Only for C-Lite customers.

Line

  • Line1
    • Display Name: a descriptive name
    • Address: Conversant username as advised by
    • Conversant
    • Authentication User ID: Conversant username as advised by Conversant
    • Authentication Password: Conversant password as advised by Conversant
    • Label: a descriptive name to appear on the phone
  • Server1
    • Address: Domain or realm details as advised by Conversant
    • Expires: 360

Dial Plan

  • SIP Configuration Parameters > Local Settings > Digitmap > This field should be blank
