3. Outbound Calls

To search for calls placed from a specific device, place the SIP user ID into the from user section:

Select the time frame and set the search submit to Calls

A typical outbound call should appear as below:


Call-ID

Each call is assigned a unique Call-ID. Searching for a Call-ID allows for a specific call to be searched for in C-Mon to see what happened with the call. To find the Call-ID, firstly find the call needing to be investigated in C-Lite, under VoIP > Advanced > Call History. Search for the call, by choosing the date and selecting Filter as below:

When the call is found, click on Details in the Actions column:

Find the call_id and copy the Value

In C-Mon, place this value in the Call-ID section

Select the time frame and set the search submit to Calls

This will then bring up all entries with that Call-ID and show details for that specific call.
